No matter individual or enterprise’s use in the telecommunication products, it’s already serve from the simple communication service to the use of data, image and wireless communication. Development and application of the telecommunication industry in the future can offer many services to consumers through broadband network, such as e-commerce, film, TV program, news and information. What we call “telecommunication service industry” here includes generally telecommunication industry that we are familiar with and network information supply industry that provides many other adding services by using telecommunication industry’s fixed network. The data source of the research is the 90th year of the Republic of China industrial and commercial general survey data with Stochastic Frontier Approach and Tobit regression model to analyze.The study conclusion as follows:1. The technical efficiency average level of the network information supply industry is 0.8108, slightly higher than 0.8014 of the telecommunication industry. It doesn’t support telecommunication industry having bigger capital and scale should be more efficiency. 2. In industry’s characteristic, the telecommunication industry relatively belongs to the attitude of oligopoly market and has huge fixed capital. It supports that the less the market competition degree, the more helpfully to the efficiency level of the individual firm. The network information supply industry belongs to the attitude of perfect competition market and its result is contrary to the telecommunication industry. 3. In firm's characteristic, the network information supply industry supports the firm which enters the market earlier will have more advantages, but the telecommunication industry doesn’t. 4. In the telecommunication industry, it supports that bigger scale will be helpful to the firm’s efficiency, but the network information supply industry doesn’t because of its market structure. 5. In the network information supply industry, it supports the efficiency wage theory in some aspects, but the telecommunication industry doesn’t because there are many professional and technical employees who have already possessed the high wages in its labor structure.
