| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 兒童文學研究所 === 95 === Bin-Bo is a famous fairy tale author in the Mainland China. His works are well known for the sentimental style set off by peaceful and graceful atmosphere, which attract a lot of juvenile readers. For his unique writing style, Bin-Bo soon becomes the major fairy tale author of the sentimental style in China, in contrast to the comic style author, Yuan-Jie Zheng. This study tries to explore the origin of the fascination of Bin-Bo’s fairy tales.
This study mainly focuses on Bin-Bo’s works of fairy tales. There are four topics in this study：First, discussing about Bin-Bo’s opinion of fairy tales and his own viewpoint about writing. The purpose is to make a better understanding about the main points of Bin-Bo’s literary creation. Next, the focus of next topic is discussing the subject of Bin-Bo’s fairy tales. By way of classification of works, the chapter tries to analyze and generalize the range of subject of Bin-Bo’s fairy tales.
Besides, next chapter mainly discusses the characters in Bin-Bo’s fairy tales. The characters of his works can be categorized into three types: “the characters of superman ”, “the characters of normal people”, and “the characters of personification ”. Furthermore , the chapter will discuss how Bin-Bo mastered the innate characters of the whole creation about the “the characters of personification ”.Finally, by means of discussing and analyzing the ways he gives expression in themes, we can find out the substances of the themes and the distinguishing characteristics of Bin-Bo’s fairy tales.
After analyzing and generalizing, conclusion is showing the result of this study. Chapter Six will describe the distinguishing features, such as Bin-Bo’s fairy tales fits infantile readers for reading. Besides, Bin-Bo’s fairy tales shows the unique sentimental mode, and looks for the values of being a man.
