碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 森林環境暨資源學研究所 === 94 === The purpose of this study is to analysis the visitors’ environmental attitudes in Four-Animals Civil Forest in Taipei and whether the different environmental attitudes will influence their cognition on the function of urban forest. This study built up a theoretical structure and designed a questionnaire to collect related data by interviewing visitors. There are 219 respondents. The results of factor analysis showed that the environmental attitudes of respondents could clustered into three main factors：（1）the trade-off between the environment and economy, （2）technology and risk and （3）empathy. Based on these factors, we could classify the respondents into three types： New Environmental Paradigm with empathy, Dominant Social Paradigm without empathy and New Environmental Paradigm with technology belief. Comparing to the three groups’ socioeconomic attributes, we found that occupation contributed significant different variable among the three groups. On the other hand, the urban forest function could clustered into three main factors：（1）social economic function, （2）environmental biological function and (3) life culture function. The result also showed that the environmental attitude of visitors had no relationship between their cognition and their urban forest function.
