| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 資訊管理學研究所 === 94 === Recently, the incumbent service providers in broadband fixed access underserved the communities due to lack of demand and high-cost infrastructure. The possible remedy for the situation may need to adopt the broadband wireless access technology with licensed-exempt spectrum. This study analyzes the broadband wireless access industry and proposing the applicable business model and strategy for equipment vendors. After the analysis we found Wi-Mesh technology at the current stage is the best fit for BWA industry, for the long run this study will provide the future development direction and study areas for BWA vendors.
