By examining the current status of the Blogs in Taiwan, Mainland China, Europe as well as the United States, to provide some inspiration on the future development, so as the potential commercial opportunity existing in Blogs. This article reorganizes a classification of the Blogs by its usage. The main classified dimension contains, profitable and non-profitable Another classified dimension contains Blogs for business or for individuals. This thesis will probe the current expanding Blogs by using these four different quadrants. According to the above classifications, there will be four distinct blogs: the Commercial blog, the Expert blog, the PR & Public Welfare blog and the Personal blog. This thesis will provide some examples to portray the profit pattern and the operating performance. In addition, this article observes the blog usage rate by visiting the official websites of Taiwan's top one hundred companies , including manufactures, service and the finance industry, so does the American Fortune 100 enterprises. The conclusion shows Blog is still in its initial stage within these giant enterprises . However, it's totally another story while it referring to those micro enterprise and the personal bloggers. This article proposes a notion about "the exchange pattern between the blogs information flows and the cash flows" by monitoring the existing business blogs. It mainly describes how the blog service provider (BSP) and bloggers can benefit one enterprise's transaction and marketing by their collaboration. It reveals the fact that the comments and opinions spread in the blogs could actually generate revenue, as well as achieve a win-win solution with their consumers. As we look back at the invention of paper and printing in human civilization, Blog is obviously a much powerful virtual publication tool. The invention of the Internet is like a key to open the cyber space, and it also acts as a limitless virtual platform and the media carriers. If so, the appearance of Blog would be the combination of printing technology and media power, which allows the individuals to broadcast their voice to the whole world.
