Summary:碩士 === 中國文化大學 === 生活應用科學研究所 === 94 === Absaract The main purpose of this study was to investigate the correlation among the career self-efficacy, career barriers and coping strategies for female teachers in food and beverage department of the vocational high schools. The survey was conducted for this study. The subjects were the female teachers of the food and beverage department from 77 vocational high schools in Taiwan, having 418 teachers to do the questionnaires for data collecting. 402 acceptable questionnaires were collected. The return rate is 96.17﹪. The samples data analysis used descriptive statistic, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and canonical correlation analysis. The principle findings of this research were as follows: 1. The levels of career self-efficacy and career barriers of teachers were middle levels. 2. There were significant differences in career self-efficacy for the variables of age, education levels, and marital status, the number of children, teaching experiences, number of professional certification, teachers’ certification, public/private school, and professional license. 3. There were significant differences in career barriers the variables of age, education levels, marital status, and the number of children, teaching experiences, number of professional certification, teachers’ certification, public/private school, and professional posts. 4. In coping strategies for there were significant differences the variables of age, education levels, marital status, the number of children, teaching experiences, number of professional certification, and professional license. 5. Lower of inference and lower intensity of confidence, that could use lower of the problem-solving strategies, temporary strategies and change strategies, but could use higher of the escape-avoidance strategies. 6. Lower of individual/mentality barriers, background/circumstance, social/Interpersonal and higher of the consciousness of difficulty, that could use higher of the problem-solving strategies, temporary strategies and change strategies, but could use lower of the escape avoidance strategies. 7. Results of based on this research, proposed are helpful to the female teachers profession development correlation suggestion, will supply the female teachers, the school correlation unit and the future researcher refers.
