The endless image and abstract language of space, as such, often arouse her to creativity. And one of her recent undertakings has been an attempt to transfer Nature’s shapes into geometric planes and to collapse the three-dimensional space back into its two-dimensional planes in order to demonstrate the objects’ inner reality and diverse spatial images. This author wishes to express the variation of light and color in space through construction and deconstruction, with division, distortion, interlacing and fusion. Also, this writer emphasizes the relativity among colors, lines, composition and strokes in her works. She tries to apply to her artwork the skills and spirit of “Post-Cubism,” the motion of “Futurism,” the emotion of “Expressionism” and the construction of “Abstract Painting.” Following the reorganization of vision, feeling, and perception with asynchronous viewpoints, a temporal dimension is infused into the spatial construction of paintings. Thus the stillness, movement, space, and time are all interconnected into a holistic “mental space” embedded in each painting. Finally, this author uses rhythmic lines and blended colors to vitalize the harmonious wholeness in her paintings. On the conceptual level, this author draws upon Eastern and Western esthetics, art essays, skill analyses and art history to establish and develop the direction and depth of her art. The significance of this effort lies both in this writer’s self-expression and in revelation of the intimate link between her and the external world. Working with her individualized language of lines and colors, this author strives to represent the poetic realm within and to develop a unique art thought and style.
