In the past, many studies focused on the parent company’s knowledge outflow to subsidiary, ignored subsidiary’s knowledge could be transferred to the parent company. Because of the rich overseas knowledge that a repatriate had, the organization should set up mechanisms to manage these knowledge. So that the overseas experience can transfers through whole organization. Previous study about the repatriate’s knowledge sharing focused on knowledge sharing motivation, but we think that knowledge sharing also need channel to share, in another words, let repatriate have a chance to share their overseas experience. So this paper combines agency theory and social exchange theory, to explore the relationships among management mechanism, the motivation and the channel of knowledge sharing. We also discuss how the motivations and the channel influence the knowledge sharing behavior. We collect data from the Directory of foreign Investment edited by The Ministry of Economic Affairs. We get 104 valid questionnaires and exercise the LISREL to analyze. We find that the knowledge sharing formal mechanism can facilitate the knowledge sharing motivation. The knowledge sharing formal mechanism also has positive relation with the knowledge sharing formal channel. The knowledge sharing formal channel also has significant impact on knowledge sharing behavior. The knowledge sharing informal mechanism does not have significant effect on knowledge sharing motivation, but it effects on knowledge relational sharing channel. Unfortunately, knowledge sharing relational channel does not have significant impact on knowledge sharing behavior.
