碩士 === 東吳大學 === 社會工作學系 === 94 === The research aims to explore the process of display of resilience from abused women, and expects to provide social workers holistic and positive though which could prompt social workers finding or improving resilience of abused women, and then, prompt them helping abused women to copy husbands’ violence. The research adopts qualitative method and collects data by in-depth interviews. There are two steps to deal with the data. First, adopts narrative method to write stories of abused women, including the process of violence, the process of seeking for help and the process of developing stable life. Second, uses hermeneutical method to analyze and discuss the resilience of abused women, in addition, examples will be described like a whole which is a kind of chaos perspective. The results of the research include: 1. resilience of abused women: capability of thinking and cognition, appropriate independent character, initiative, good self-respect, be sure of future life, morality changed by social trend, sense of humor and optimistic manner, belief (above belong to internal protective factors), support adults, supporting family and supporting formal resource system ( the three belong to external protective factors). 2. applying resilience by abused women: by ecological perspective and Rutterr’s standpoint of protective factors, we got a timely opportunity, formed by interaction between person and environment, of applying resilience. 3. effect of display of resilience: safety promotion and health improvement(from physiological aspect), self-consciousness promotion, positive attitude and emotion(from psychological aspect), positively seeking for help, usefully copying husbands’ violence(from behaving aspect), appropriate and positive human interaction, stand on solid ground and stable life(from social adaptive aspect).
