碩士 === 南台科技大學 === 資訊管理系 === 94 === Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology holds the promise to automatically and inexpensively track items as they move through the readers. The proliferation of RFID tags and readers will require dedicated middleware solutions that manage readers and process the vast amount of captured data. In this paper we analyze the requirements and propose a framework to design such a RFID middleware. In this study, we explored the possible applications of using RFID to support school management. And in order to develop the RFID campus information management system, we applied the spiral model for system design. The spiral model has the advantage to reduce the risk for the project. And based on the framework, the system device can be separated from the system using the layer structure. At last, we used the spiral model to design an embryo system for validation and verification the framework.
