Summary:碩士 === 東海大學 === 物理學系 === 94 === In this thesis, we experimentally study resonator-configuration dependent in diode-pumped Nd:YVO4 lasers that are free-running or subject to pump modulation. The average output power, waveform and spectrum were observed as a function of the cavity length at different pump power. Our investigation shows that the laser exhibits very interesting phenomena when the cavity length is adjusted near the edge of the geometric stable resonator configuration. In this area, the phenomena such as chaos dynamics and hysteresis are observed.
