EPDM/clay hybrids have been prepared by mixing EPDM and organoclay via a vulcanization process using tetramethyl- thiuram monosulfide as a vulcanization accelerator. The exfoliated structures of clay in the hybrid were support by XRD and TEM data. EPDM and EPDM-clay hybrid have been mixed separately with aluminum hydroxide to prepare flame-retarded EPDM. Data from TGA and Cone calorimeter experiments showed that the presence of organoclay in the flame-retarded EPDM not only improve its thermal stability but also reduce its maximum heat release rate and extinction coefficient . 郭文正 2006 學位論文 ; thesis 89 zh-TW |
