Pure YAG:Ce phosphor can be obtained from aluminum nitrate by normal strike and reverse strike precipitation method and calcined at 900℃ for 2h, which is shorter than that of fast titration method calcined at 900℃ for 4h. When alumina (α and θ phase) or boehmite was used as the aluminum sorce. YAG phosphor can synthesized using θ-phase alumina by reverse strike precipitation and calcined at 1300℃/16h-1400/24h, which was 100℃ lower than that of used α-phase alumina.
