Description
Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立教育大學 === 身心障礙教育研究所 === 94 === The purpose of this study is to explore the rearing styles of parents with oppositional defiant disorder (ODD) children. This study uses in-depth interviews to cultivate the behavior patterns of ODD, how parents react to ODD, and the effects and factors of their rearing styles. Results show that parent-child conflicts and those among siblings are most frequently reported. Parents tend to raise ODD in a “democratic- authoritative” way. Six relevant factors are generated and discussed: styles that parents were reared in their childhood, personality, family functions, religious beliefs, stereotypes of step-parents, and self-growth. Suggestions are provided based on these findings.
