Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北藝術大學 === 美術學系美術創作碩士班 === 94 === Abstract Confusions often emerge when one tries to write the abstract for his/her own work—it may represent the author at once, and sometimes the work itself, oscillating between these two weird objects. Thus, it is at times confusing the readers. From the author’s aspect, introducing from “Why would I work this way?” to “What do I try to say?”, she attempts to lead the readers to understand the formation of “self” and how she has seen the reproduction as a “gender individual with the camera” through words with her belief and feelings. Opposite to the latter, the work itself is a practical methodology consisting of “the attitude of utilizing media materials”, “making up an element”, “the arrangement between elements” and “the integral work”. Writing an abstract is like creating an interface. Not only does the author need to illustrate his/her own production, but also manage to pass the same feeling he/she has about the work onto the readers. This study discusses the co-existing relationship between the time of the image and that of showcase by applying the digital media materials to the image device as an exploration of art creation form. This study also analyzes how the senses in the photo shots are triggered by the viewers through times, i.e. how the meanings of the work can be seen while the eyes are gazing at the camera lens. This study analyze images as a substance—including introducing the materials from static frame, electronic image and sound and the relevance between the emergence of these image forms and aesthetics to the appearance of digital media materials and the first consideration among forms in terms of material representation. Next, how personal experiences become a final work through the corollary relationship between the forms and materials of electronic media is to be discussed. Finally, this paper analyzes the way the creator of the work measures the time, and how the space coordinate responds to the proposition. Through a series of self-questioning, the author attempts to illustrate the image concept of the work and contemplate how she can “read” her life through the roots of personal problems which the work presents.
