Now a day, people are careless about their attitude, so we may have the question on “what kinds of people have been created?” Unfortunately, they do not care about whom the creator is, and are just following the trends or maybe have already slipped into the desire of materials. Do we still believe in the existence of ourselves? In my essay, I have divided this subject “constantly positioning self-portrait” into several parts. The foreword of my essay is arranged in the Chapter one, interpreting the purpose and method of my research. In the Chapter two, we are going to talk about the sequence of ideas of the portrait from 2001 to 2005. During this period, when we look into portraits, we may find out some clues to know about the painters’ personality, mentality and even who they consider they are. Reference this chapter, we will know that self-portrait is not only presented by self-image but also could present by symbols. I have been dedicating my effort to the range of self-portrait for a long time. My works express the relationship between portraits and the reflective of the society, which is the difference, compare my works with others’. In the Chapter three, section in my paper is stressed the form of panting and the ingredient of construct. Then it also mentioned about the concept of self-image, which was given by variety social phenomenon. The Chapter Four continued my observing on society, it talked about the evolvement and connection of form of cartoon and the development of cartoon’s creation. I made a conclusion upon my five years experience of creation. Then I proposed my concept, thought and describe the possible developments and aspects of my creation afterwards.
