Description
Summary:碩士 === 大同大學 === 機械工程學系(所) === 94 === Abstract At present, the electronic products with slim sizes and compact functions are highly emphasized by every R&D maker. Taking NB for example, under limited space, it is required to improve product performance continuously. Thus, the overall performance derives from CPU processing performance, the capabilities of drawing and displaying, and the capacity and speed of storage devices. However, the improved performance also brings with the increased power consumption and heat rise; this aspect is exactly the hardest critical technology issue for R&D to overcome. This research is mainly aimed to make evaluating effort on components of heat sink devices. Among them, the structural changes of fans are also significantly correlated to the performance and applicable methods of heat sink devices. This part also occupies the major proportion of production cost. The design or this research is to design a multiple outlet centrifugal fan with the capabilities to deal with a more than one heat source so that the production cost can be well decreased. Thus, we have to adopt the fluid analysis software for design evaluation. Within this research, the CAD analysis software we adopt is ECS (Electronic Cooling System) provided by I-DEAS. Also, by using the experimental measurement values of standard design we can confirm the reliability of numeric simulation. Within this research, focusing on the device applicability, we can take it into consideration and design the fans with various outlet angles in layout. Also, in response to various heat sink volumes, we can design the layout with various outlet angles. From numeric calculation, we can reach the performance design values of design. From the said aspect, from numeric analysis, we can examine the design results and the visible representation of fluid. On the other hand, it is available to shorten design duration and accumulate more parameters available for subsequent reference.
