Summary:碩士 === 台南女子技術學院 === 生活應用科學研究所 === 94 === The purposes of this study were to understand current parent’s perception and identification of male teacher role in kindergartens, and to explore the differences and correlations in parent’s perceptions of male teacher in kindergartens. In this study, 273 of 300 valid questionnaires were used. The subjects were recruited from parents whose children were enrolled in kindergartens in Tainan County. The data sets were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, one way analysis of variance, and correlation analysis. The findings were as follows: 1.There are significant differences in identification of male teacher’s role in kindergartens according to parents’ demographics ( relatives, gender ,occupation and educational background). 2.There are significant differences in identification of male teacher’s role in kindergartens according to different family situations (children’ gender, family structures and primary caregiver ). 3.There are significant differences in identification of male teacher’s role in kindergartens according to different caring situations (caring areas , caring organization and caring class ).
