| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立陽明大學 === 臨床護理研究所 === 94 === The purposes of this study were to explore the women’s experiences and coping behaviors during the treatment of leuprorelin acetate. The ten subjects that were recruited in this study were diagnosed with endometriosis via laparoscope in a medical center in Taipei from May to November in 2005. Four deep interviews were taken place on the day of being hospital, the fourth week, the eighth week, and the twelfth week after discharged from hospital for each subject. Verbal and non-verbal behaviors in the interview were recorded as notes and process recording. The data was analyzed and categorized.
The results show that the women’s experiences during the treatment period included: recognizing the body change, perceiving the unstable mood, and facing the disorder of life pattern. Three types of coping behaviors were adopted to adjust the changes, including rationale analysis, facing the problems, and avoidance.
The findings will thereby provide the important reference for nursing care and improve the quality of nursing.
