碩士 === 元智大學 === 工業工程與管理學系 === 94 === Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) is applied in the research to evaluate the performance of polarizer suppliers in TFT-LCD industry. An effective model is established for the business practitioners to make correct evaluation of the polarizer suppliers. 5 dimensions are developed according to the research results: quality control of dispatched goods, cost competitiveness, logistics accuracy, R&D ability and green product management. And 17 items are proposed as indexes appropriate to be used for the evaluation of polarizer suppliers. The evaluation model is applied to be used in a TFT-LCD company and the sorting result is obtained as the expected order. It shows that the model can provide directions for polarizer suppliers to promote their competitiveness and be used as a reference for the TFT-LCD companies to choose their suppliers.
