Besides a minor hospital’s staff, the major part are patients and their family, so the concealing potential danger is higher than other public places. If an arson fire happens in this environment, the amount of casualties and damages only can imagine. This report uses FDS (Fire Dynamics Simulator) software to reestablish the Lanyang Jenai Hospital fire accident in Taiwan. This report has discussed the effects of different fire conditions caused by using different kind of construction materials. The simulation presents the characteristic analysis of the fire scene construction material and the effect to persons escape, and expected to obtain a best design condition used as reference for the medical organizations to select proper construction materials for fire protection engineering.
