Summary:碩士 === 元智大學 === 機械工程學系 === 94 === This thesis develops a quasi two-dimensional half-cell model, and the region which was studied in this model includes the cathode gas channel, cathode gas diffuser layer, cathode gas catalyst layer and membrane. The velocity distribution in the gas channel is the corresponding fully developed velocity profile to model the actual effect of convection. Analytical solutions of the oxygen mass fraction distribution in the cathode gas channel, cathode gas diffuser layer and cathode gas diffuser layer are obtained, and the membrane phase potential and current density distributions in the cathode catalyst layer and membrane are also derived. The effects of different parameters, such as the inlet velocity, surface overpotential and porosity of the gas diffuser layer, on the overall performance have been further discussed. The analytical solutions are expressed in terms of dimensionless forms.
