| Summary: | 碩士 === 國防大學中正理工學院 === 資訊科學研究所 === 95 === Most of the design of current information system is based on the technology ability instead of human usability. Consistent information system is easy to learn and easy to use. Thus, the consistency of user interface design is an important issue for information system design.
Usability evaluation indicated that the system developed by the proposed method increases user efficiency in information system as well as user satisfaction. The concept of user-centered design in Thinking Aloud Method is proved to be suitable for evaluating inforamtion system.
The result shows that consistency and navigation of information system interface is related to information system interface usability. However, functionality of information system is not related to information system usability. Thus, we suggest that the web site designer of information system should improve the consistency of the information system interface. By doing so, user satisfaction will be improved. We also find that navigation is related to efficiency, effectiveness, and user satisfaction. So we suggest that the navigation function of information system is also an important concern.
