Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 化學所 === 95 === The fabrication of alloy nanoparticles recently attracted great research interest due to their special magnetic characteristics. Controlling the size and shape of nanocrystalline materials is a key issue in current nanoscience research.
In this presentation, we report a thermal decomposition of organometallic precursors to synthesize CoPt and CoPd nanostructures. Herein, we used different surfactants in amine media, or in o-xylene to fabricate nanostructures with various morphologies. Noticeable, the mixture of Co2(CO)8 and Pt(hfac)2 (hfac = hexaflouroacetylacetonate) in amine media can fabricate CoPt nanowires. Experiments involved in the variation of precursor, surfactant, reaction temperature and solvent have been carried out to study the effects on the formation of CoPt and CoPd nanostructures.
In structural characterization, we examined the morphologies of nanostructures by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and used energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), electron diffraction (ED) and X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), to identify the composition of nanostructure materials.
