Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 成人及繼續教育所 === 95 === Abstract The object of the research is the Chia-Yi citizen, the purpose of the research is to study what is the demand of family education, how is the participation intention towards the family education, and the relationship between both of them. We hope the research result can be referred for activities held by related organization, to plan the most suitable learning activities for the citizen. This research used questionnaire survey, collected from the result of “Questionnaire Survey of The Family Education Demand and the Participation Intention of the Chia-Yi Citizen”, and supported by semi-structured interview, understand the differences between research and references and the demand of the weak population, the difference of the participation intention. Quantified survey consisted of 1000 copies of questionnaire in total, reclaimed 812 copies, reclaimed rate of 81.2%, the valid questionnaire was 770 copies, and the conclusion of the statistic analysis is as below : 1. The family education demand of the Chia-Yi citizen is mid-high level, which the education of how to be parents is the highest demand. 2. The related factors affect the Chia-Yi citizen towards family education demand include gender, education, marital status, family life cycle. 3. The family participation intention towards of the Chia-Yi citizen is mid-high level, which the education of how to be parents is the highest participation intention towards . 4. The related factors affect the Chia-Yi citizen towards family education demand and participation intention include gender, age, occupation, education, marital status, family income . 5. “Family education demand” and “participation intention” are positive related. From the research discovered, we propose several suggestions as follows : 1. Suggestions to organizations which handle family education a、 Pay attention to family education promotion and activities application, provide multi-dimension learning opportunity. b、 According to different background, provide citizen suitable learning activities, to fulfill learning demand, improve the participation intention. c、 Encourage educator to adopt multi-dimension teaching method, to suit the learning demand of the citizen with different background. d、 According to the different background of the citizen, apply the suitable promotion marketing. e、 Design activities to encourage the males to participate with, wish to motivate males learning demand and participation intention, in order to eliminate learning limitation. 2. Suggestions to future research Suggestions towards research object and research scope, method, research discussion, to be the reference for future research.
