Summary: | 碩士 === 長庚大學 === 電子工程研究所 === 95 === This thesis research aims to design and implement a baby-bed-side physiological monitoring system on a commercial embedded system platform. The system is mainly composed of commercial wireless sensors, application programs, and an embedded web server. When the system receives the ECG signal via the wireless sensor, it starts to perform the template match-based QRS detection and template will be updated once a QRS wave is detected. Meanwhile, estimates of heart rate and heart rate variability are also provided. Moreover, graphical form-based results obtained from above will be also displayed on the LCD screen associated with the system as well as on the web page at a remote site. As a result, caretakers can use the system to monitor the physiological information reflected by either one baby or a number of babies in a real-time fashion. Therefore, such a baby-bed-side system not only supports for the home-care unit but also for the baby care centers, thus achieving the ultimate goal of this research.
