Description
Summary:碩士 === 中華大學 === 科技管理學系(所) === 95 === Recently, financial institutions in Taiwan strive consumer credit loan to enlarge market share. At keen competitive environment, they even adapt hasty process and irrational standard to win the business ward and therefore cause many social problems. The solution to solve is to set an accurate and effective loan standard and exactly do the process. Thus, it will be a never finished job to continuously improve and confirm the two key points. The objective of this research is to find out some signals or factors of default risk for consumer loans. We randomly choose 300 non-performing loans and 300 performing loans from branches around Taiwan of a commercial bank in 2005 and 2006 as samples. We choose variables according to review many theories, literatures, and real cases. And then we run the Logistic Regression and other statistic methods by SPSS to discuss the default factors of loan consumers. At the result, we observed that the factors which significantly effect consumer performance are age, education, occupation, seniorities, and so on. Factor age, occupation, seniority, education, consumer with his own house or not, and consumer who has an automatically transfer account have positive relationship with consumer performance; loan amount has positive relationship with consumer performance.
