Description
Summary:碩士 === 中國科技大學 === 建築研究所 === 95 === Historic sites and architectures are an important cultural heritage inherited from ancestors. However, they usually cannot be effectively preserved for a long period of time due to factors such as environmental alteration, improper management and maintenance etc., and possibly destroyed by natural or artificial disaster over night. The long-lasting preservation of historic sites and architectures remains in the concept of hazard prevention. It is served as an example that many historic sites are recently burned in the country and precious cultural heritage and wood members are destroyed. Even after such damage, they shall be preserved well. So far, no such literature investigating the clearance of historic sites has been available in the country. Therefore it is necessary to establish an operation procedure for emergency clearance and preservation. This research proposes a 3-stage principle of emergency clearance and preservation based on related literatures, domestic and international regulations, and operation procedures of the two domestic real cases: First stage includes the preliminary emergency handling, second stage is focused on the site clearance and preservation, and third stage aims at the following investigation and analysis. In addition, coding system of architectural members and cultural heritage, criteria for damage, recording spreadsheets are established. The proposed 3-stage principle is practically applied to Yuanching Taoist Temple case and all of its recorded data and process is saved in the digital format, distributed to the public through internet interface and available for information search. The research results show that the emergency clearance and preservation procedures of historic sites and architectures after fire is indeed feasible and conforms to both the spirits of “Cultural Heritage Preservation Laws” and those of international principles. Therefore it can be a good reference to the following emergency operation procedures of historic sites and architectures subject to severe disaster.
