There are many studies to achieve better radiation characteristics of antenna by controlling the radiation patterns. In this thesis, we proposed the design of horizontal polarized array antenna which is operated in 2.45 GHz and which can generate the omniderectional radiation pattern in the azimuthal plane.The main purpose of this design is that develop the antennas with low profile and well frequency matching.Three different structures of array antenna, dipole array antenna, monopole array antenna and quasi-parallel transmission line-feed, have been studied to reach our design target. In the design of horizontal polarized dipole array antenna and monopole array antenna, we found that the omnidirectional radiation field could be obtained by locating monopole or dipole antennas which are perpendicular to each other in the x-y plane, i.e. horizontal plane. Then the good frequency matching could be revealed by varying each parameters. Furthermore, we also demonstrated that well impedance matching, band widening and omnidirectional radiation field revealed in non-idealized parallel plane could be achieved by translating the microstrip transmission line into parallel transmission line. 陳振聲 2006 學位論文 ; thesis 95 zh-TW
