Description
Summary:碩士 === 中原大學 === 企業管理研究所 === 95 === Abstract In recent years, several important events happened in the energetic industry. It includes the rising crude oil price, more serious global greenhouse impact, and more adverse environmental and atmosphere impinges induced by the widespread usage of carbon energy. Although the cost of electricity generated from petrochemical fuel is gradually close to the cost of alternative energy, like the bio-diesel fuel, the energy produced by natural gas is still cheaper than wind power and the coal mine, one of most used carbon energy, is still the cheapest energy. Therefore, seeking for new alternative energy is one of the most important tasks for each country. Depending upon our research, both solar energy and wind power are potential candidates to be used extensively for substituting carbon energy. The research explores the potential of “solar cell” and “wind power” industries in Taiwan. Based on several industrial analysis approaches, the problems and opportunities of both new powers are investigated. Our research found those successful factors of solar cell and wind power in Taiwan depends upon the appropriate government energy policy, a complete industry chain, enough R&D investment and suitable market size.
