Description
Summary:碩士 === 中原大學 === 國際貿易研究所 === 95 === International trade is the major cause of the rapid growth in globalization. In the past two decades, many tariff and non-traiff trade barriers are released, but the global environment is getting worse and worse. In order to improve the tremendous harm done in environmental, many countries devote to bring up good environmental protection directives. In 2003, European Union declared to put into effective some new environmental requlations--the Waste Electrical and Electronics Equipment (WEEE) and Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS). As Taiwan has a high percent, about 41.13%, in exporting electrical and electronic products to Europe Union, these regulations have cause a great shock in Taiwan’s electrical and electronic industries. This study aims at establishing an environmental management system for electrical and electronic industries in Taiwan. That means to construct a feasible WEEE & RoHS information management platform for electrical and electronic industries. From the regression analysis, one may find some correlations in the foloowing variables:(1)Material purchasing and pollution treatment may influence the production process. (2)Important variables in the production process may influence effects of the environmental protection. (3) Environmental requirements and material purchasing may influence the importance of variables. These relationships may be important for constructing an information management platform. The results of multivariate analysis of varivance indicate that capital volume has great impact on following variables:the purchase behavior, productionprocess, research and development, and environmental protection. At last, the study constructs an initial structural equation model for futural research purposes. One may use these information to find the relationships and construct a feasible WEEE & RoHS information management platform for electrical and electronic industries properly.
