The Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) transforms the traditional concept of software function being the center of the development application to focusing on actual commercial operation demands, enables the solution to become the promoter to response fast business environmental changes, assists the enterprise to show the high flexibility and elasticity in the competitive environment, rapidly responds the customer demand, promotes the market competition strength. This research wants to understand, the Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) as the future development under the tendency, emphasizes the enhancement of the flexibility and elasticity of service orientation, and how MES can rapidly respond the internal and external demand, what functions can use the concept of SOA to implement. In the literature discussion, analyzing the main functions of MES, understanding the concept of SOA, discussing which parts are essential to adopt the SOA and using the scope of the MES of FAB MOVE LOT, HOLD LOT and so on. By applying prototype of SOA, authenticate whether SOA can nimbly utilize in MES. In the paper, it really makes the system to be truly feasible and also uses its notice function to increase the MES immediate warning, therefore it enables rapid solutions right after the problems happened, instead of having the PP’s after action report and the criticism, causing the factory losses for no reason.
