Description
Summary:碩士 === 朝陽科技大學 === 工業工程與管理系碩士班 === 95 === Enterprises have faced a more and more severe competition environment because of the diversification of customer requirements as well as the market globalization and liberalization. Therefore, industrialists have intended to find ways to approach rapid product design for quick market response in order to gain profits and remain sustainable. Product data management (PDM) system is usually implemented in industries to obtain highly efficient lifecycle management of product data. Among all research and development management activities, engineering change management (ECM) is usually known as the most complicated activity. ECM can help to deliver quick response to customer requirement change, difficulties on part manufacturing, product assembly, and prototyping test failure, and so on. However, engineers usually encounter many problems during ECM process. Without a computerized ECM tool, lack of an efficient review process and a systematic methodology are among the problems. This research focuses on the study of ECM. Uses unified modeling language (UML) for system analysis and design of the computerized ECM tool. For systematic thinking process during ECM, the tool combines the contradiction matrix methodology in TRIZ. Further, the tool also provides knowledge management capability so that the ECM data can be properly classified and stored for future searching. The purpose of the tool development is to support ECM activities for engineers in order to shorten engineering change operation time, reduce numbers of follow-up engineering changes, and improve the efficiency of product research and development.
