It is usually used for national macroeconomic analysis and regional or departmental development analysis, for example, the impact analysis and research of regional or urban development construction, transportation department, environment department, and energy department. It is used to discuss industrial traits, define industrial relationship; also, to assess the impact of policies on economy and industry. The analysis method is a general Equilibrium Model; therefore, the interaction of industries within the economic body is considered and supported by detailed data. It helps us understand the input of Taiwan High-speed Rail and its interaction with industry. This study utilizes :Input-Output analysis understand the industrial correlation effect resulted from the introduction of Taiwan High Speed Rail project. Construction correlates to Taiwan High-Speed Rail directly. Taiwan High Speed Rail closely correlates to financial industry since its funds originated from governmental expenditure and private sector. Therefore, the study is focusing on the impact of Taiwan High Speed Rail project on public sector and private sector economically.
