Description
Summary:碩士 === 朝陽科技大學 === 設計研究所 === 95 === Abstract This study focuses on researching a process of innovative design integrating with TRIZ methodology, especially with applying the TRIZ contradiction matrix. The students are divided into two groups. One of them is familiar with TRIZ method 40 principles, and the other one has never studied the method before. In this study, we choose a number of students of Department of Industrial Design as our subjects. The obtained results of the study on these two groups are to show the comparison between the creativity and the uniqueness of thinking of the two groups. The conclusion is further discussed and proposed in three aspects: learning, comprehension, and application. The purposes of this study are described as follows: 1. to discovery possible problems which selected subjects may encounter; 2. to evaluate the performance of creativity and uniqueness between TRIZ group and average group; 3. To make conclusion based on the experimental results, for practical uses such as education material or professional design. This study adopted the following ways to conduct the following experiment. First, we collected educative data which is relevant to TRIZ theory and decided to choose college students as our subjects. During the experiment, we recorded the occurring problems and the corresponding solving methods. Next, we proceeded the study by separating the selected subjects into two groups which alternatively performs experiment with or without the pre-training of the inventive principles. And then, the result is to be reviewed by experts so that the final conclusion is accordingly made. The conclusion is proposed as the following four aspects: (1) Learning: Most of the subjects are not familiar with the TRIZ theory which leads to the absence of TRIZ technique in industrial design. A better and effective learning method is to provide learning from real cases or to perform practices. (2) Comprehension: During the experiment, the selected subjects had faced two problems: unclear definition of each independent Contradiction and difficulty in understanding of the numerous terms 39 engineering parameters and 40 inventive principles. It is necessary to provide additional information and introduce more real cases and practice. (3) Application: After the to-be-solved problem is targeted, the student is able to develop his own creativity. It is due to the TRIZ method 40 principles which play an important role in developing an imagination so the design became creative and diverse. (4) Evaluation: According to the obtained results, it shows that subjects having learned the TRIZ inventive principles achieve better performance of creativity and uniqueness. The same consequence also reveals in the ranking and producing. Therefore, if TRIZ is applying into industrial design we can always expect better return on both of the quality and quantity.
