The second works investigates suppression of chaos in a pump-modulation Nd:YVO4 laser. When the laser operated at the degeneracy cavity configuration, the chaotic threshold for modulation depth significantly increased. This result was confirmed by numerical simulation. Besides, the experimental results shows two different phase diagram in the parameter spaces associated with the cavity length being less and larger than the one of exact degeneracy.
