Legal Aid Foundation was selected as the research subject in the study, and data were collected using the case study method and interviews. The results revealed: 1) the first-year goal of Legal Aid Foundation was to achieve its performance by increasing the number of cases; 2) the biggest risk of the foundation was the instability of funds; 3) there was a correlation between risk management and organizational performance of the foundation. Besides, suggestions to non-profit organizations in Taiwan included: 1) in the industry, a special position of the organization or a clear goal should be worked out; 2) in the aspect of human resources, training and recruiting full-time employees should be conducted according to the features of the organization; 3) an all-round marketing strategy should be fulfilled to raise funds. Non-profit organizations exist to serve people, and their susceptibility to the environmental changes (interest rate cut in banks and people’s low willingness to donate due to economic recession) would result in predicament in fund-raising.
