How to distribute resources becomes an important issue in digital home living environment. This paper propose a resource management system for digital home. It contains three modules, device ontology、device manager and resource allocator. Device ontology records detail information about all resources in digital home. Device manager collects users requirement and environment information, predicts the usage of resources and detects resource conflicts. Resource allocator uses BDI multi-agent negotiation and blackboard systems to find acceptable for conducting resource management. The System can achieve resource dispatching and conflict negotiation efficiently. The System is applied to the resource allocator for digital home.
