The competition of enterprises has been changed to the whole supply chains’. The logistics plays an extremely important role in the entire supply chain. Therefore, enterprises promote their own competitiveness by lowering costs, without exception of mature electrical home appliance industry. In order to reduce logistics cost, the electrical home appliances manufacturers have been outsourcing the specialized third-party logistics (TPL) that can lower costs and provide higher delivering quality. This thesis is focusing on the competitiveness advantage of the TPL which relying on the electrical home appliance manufacturing industry. As to be the main structure of this research, the professor Porter’s five forces analysis includes “rivalry”, ”supplier power”, ”barriers to entry”, ”threat of substitutes”, and “buyer power”. The first stage of this research is to carry on AHP cooperates with experts'' questionnaire and scholars’ study. After deleting the unimportant and irrelevant element, there are seventeen elements for proceeding AHP including four items of the degree of rivalry, four items of the threat of entry, three items of the supplier power, four items of buyer power and two items of the threat of substitute. By gathering the questionnaire from the management of the manufacturer, sales channel and TPL, the input to the “Expert choice 2000” analysis system can get the competitiveness elements which TPL needed. The result shows that the sequence of the importance of five forces is “supplier power”, and “buyer power”, “threat of substitute”, “threat of entry”, and “rivalry”. Furthermore, the top five important elements in order are “buyer inclination to substitute, “substitute not available”, “supplier concentration”, “substitute with relatively lower price”, and “buyer without importance”.
