| Summary: | 碩士 === 義守大學 === 管理研究所碩士班 === 95 === Axiomatic design is a kind of theory and method of design. In 1990 Suh suggested The Principles of Design, which includes two axioms of design, one is independence axiom, and the other, information axiom. Axiomatic design provides a frame describing the target of design during the process of design, which allows the designer to design and evaluate the products using this kind of frame, so that the process of design can be standardized and the possible result of the design can be easily predicted. Thus, the efficiency of design can reach its maximum.
This study applies Suh’s Principles of Axiomatic design, and takes the design of backlight module for example, processing the steps of hierarchy, decomposition and mapping; meantime, Reangularity and Semangularity are used as index for evaluating the overall information appraisement. Finally, entropy is used to decide the best project for multiple designs.
