Summary:碩士 === 崑山科技大學 === 機械工程研究所 === 95 === Cam mechanism is mainly composed of cam, follower, and frame. As cam moving, the follower is exactly driven to produce desired motion. Traditionally, the motion characteristics of cam mechanisms are desired to change, a cam will redesigned. In fact, when the position of the follower varying, the motion characteristics of cam mechanisms varying, too. Hence, the purpose of this work is to investigate and analyze the motion characteristics described the designed parameters such as the position, direction of the follower. This work derived the motion equations of the three different cam mechanisms described by designed parameters. By using the provided theory, this work designed a valve-timing mechanisms that can achieve a variable stroke design. The results prove the provided theory of this work is feasible. word : cam mechanism, variable parameter
