However, when there are few researches on solar cell applications, and more attention of global electronic manufacturer to huge car field, Taiwan is authentication of international manufacturer in car electronic production. So it is important in theory and practice to study on factors influencing purchasing intention of Taiwanese car buyers for solar cell applications –solar sunroof as an example. The thesis included document analysis, survey method with a questionnaire and survey method with an interview . It was 443samples for questionnaire randomly drawn from citizen in Tainan city. Data were analyzed by frequencies, percentage, correlation and ANOVA. Based on the document analysis and the results of the questionnaire and interview, this study reaches the following conclusion: 1. Consumer purchasing behavior and intention of Tainan city is above the average. 2. There are significant differences in solar sunroof purchasing behavior from consumers in different market segmentation. 3. There are significant differences in solar sunroof purchasing intention from consumers in different market segmentation. 4. There are significant related between purchasing behavior and intention of consumers in different market segmentation. 5. Solar sunroof buyer mainly is high-earning and high educated people in middle age high-earning. 6.
