The Banks, Securities and Insurance industry were growing rapidly in this new business. However, there is only one Insurance company obtained this license and most of other insurance companies are preparing and waiting in current situation. We can feel the great business in the Wealth Management market from more and more severe competition of the Banks, Securities and Insurance Industry. Owing to the great market and business opportunities, it inspired my motivation to research this issue. Should insurance industry develop wealth management business? And this shall mainly be decided by the customers'' willingness of giving a chance to a life insurance company to manage their wealth. Therefore, this study was made at the base of customer’s preference of this issue, and hope that it will provide objective advises to life insurance industries. The data of this study was collected through questionnaires. First, we would like to understand that under different demographic statistic whether customers’ recognition in wealth management by insurance industry is different. Second, we would like to understand under different customers’ preference whether customers’ recognition in wealth management by insurance industry is different. Third, discussion of what are the factors variable about customers’ preference in wealth management by insurance company. The results are as follows: 1. Personal characteristics variation of “Age”, “Education”; Variation of the personal experience of buying insurance: “Wealth management tendency”, “Risk tolerance ”, “Number of life insurance policy ”, “Period of an insurance ” and “Life insurance adviser impart financial planning knowledge”. And all the above factors significantly influence the customers’ recognition of a life insurance company engaging in wealth management business. 2. The customers’ inclination to do wealth management by insurance companies whose recognition significantly higher those who have no inclinations. 3. There are some effect factors about the customers doing wealth management by life insurance industry, including “student staus”, “owning a traditional product”, “life insurance adviser having financial planning knowledge”, “the ability of a life insurance company engaging in wealth management business”, “inclination to do wealth management by a life insurance company” and “having done wealth management by securities firms”.
