Therefore, a lot of parents sent their children to the conference to study English in Taiwan. Under the current Taiwan education system, English is an important language that each student should have. Besides, most adults who study English are work needed. Thus it can be seen that English is important to everyone. And there are more and more conferences in Taiwan. Many conferences hire foreign English teachers to improve students’ performance of listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. Noribito et al., (2007) pointed out that human resource management practices can improve foreign workers living adjustment. In order to improve performance of conferences, conferences can use human resource management practices to help foreign teachers to adjust living in Taiwan, and let them have better teaching performance. Then the teaching quality in conferences should be able to improve, the conference will gain the competition advantage in their filed. The objects of this research are foreign teachers who teach English in conferences in Taipei. 93 questionnaires were gathered. Human resource management practices were independent variables, adjustment and teaching performance were dependent variables. In order to understand the influence of foreign teachers’ teaching performance in the different sections of human resource management practice and adjustment. The relationships among human resource management practice, adjustment and teaching performance were discussed. The findings of this research provided the following suggestions: (1) In order to improve foreign teacher’s adjustment, manager should use performance appraisal, training and reward.
