Hospitality business keeps growing rapidly, it brings the development of hospitality education. The purpose of this study was to investigate the learning satisfaction and effectiveness of the hospitality major students of vocational high school in Taipei area. Selected demographic variables were used to analyze the relationships between students’ learning satisfaction and effectiveness. The subjects were the hospitality Major students in the second year of vocational high school in Taipei. By studying related theories, the questionnaire of this study was developed. Through questionnaire investigation, 1129 valid questionnaires were included. Descriptive statistics, independent sample T-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson Product-Moment correlation were computed for data analysis. The results were as follows: for the hospitality Major students of vocational high school in Taipei, learning satisfaction was moderately good. The effectiveness average score was 3.83.The variable of personnel backgrounds, such as gender, didn’t cause the magnification differences. The variable of personnel backgrounds, such as career planning, studying motivation, and effect of Chinese food certificate cause the magnification differences. Students’ learning satisfaction and effectives were positively and significantly correlated.
