The purposes of this study were: (1) to compare the differences of leisure participation activities and leisure constraints between foreign students and Taiwanese students based on demographic differences (gender, age); (2) to discuss differences leisure participation activities and leisure constraints among foreign students in Taiwan based on pocket money and length stay in Taiwan; (3) to examine the correlation relationship between leisure participation and leisure constraints. The data were collected and analyzed by descriptive statistics method, reliability analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, two-way ANOVA, Pearson Correlation. The results showed as follow: 1) There were significant differences in leisure participation between foreign students and Taiwanese students based on difference gender and age. 2) There were significant differences in leisure participation among foreign students based on difference pocket money and length stay in Taiwan. 3) There were significant differences in leisure constraints between foreign students and Taiwanese students based on different gender. But, difference in ethnic and age did not significantly affect their leisure constraints. 4) There were significant differences in leisure constraints among foreign students based on difference pocket money and length stay in Taiwan. 5) There was a negative correlation between leisure participation and intrapersonal constraints, but there were a positive correlation between leisure participation in interpersonal constraint and structural constraints.
