This research uses questionnaires to investigate married women’s learning motivations, learning barriers and their strategies when faceing those barriers. The findings of this research include: I. The motives of the research objects can be categorized into cognitive interest, career development, external stimulation, and peer relations. II. The learning barrier of the research objects can be classified into family and work factor, personal factor, further education factor, and study factor. The following conclusions also stand: 1) For the family and work category, there are three sub-categories, i.e. family care, work load, and no support from other people. 2) For the personal factor category, there are three sub-categories, i.e. physiology load, psychological disorder and economic pressure. 3) For the further education factor category, There are three sub-categories, i.e. inconvenient traffic, unqualified faculty, and need of appropriate courses. 4) For the study factor category, there are four sub-categories, i.e. inability, studying pressure, lacking of confidence, and poor interaction with classmates. 5) The surveyed objects’ prevailing responses to the learning barriers include looking for problem-oriented solution, searching for helping resource, adjusting learning atitude, and postponing the problem solving schedule.
