Although it wasn’t notorious as Mikania micrantha H.B.K, it grown and spread so quickly that can’t be ignored. In order to understand the mechanism of the competitiveness, we used extract of M. diplotricha by methanol, and assessed the bioactive. Result shown that the powder of M. diplotricha inhibited the germination and growth of Brassica chinensis, Bidens pilosa and Ageratum houstonianum. We tested the activity of extract at 1000 ppm and the order of allelopathic activities were EtOAc fraction > MeOH extract > EtOAc insolvable fraction. Screening for bioactive compounds and the EtOAc fraction subsequent isolation by chromatography separation. The extract inhibited germination of B. chinensis completely. Following by chromatography separation and spectral analysis, two steroids were identified, including ergosterol peroxide, 5α,8α–Epidi– oxyergosta–6,22– dien–3β–ol and ergosterol peroxide, 5α,8α– Epidioxyergosta–6–dien–3β–ol. And another extract (Pheophorbide) were identified, it inhibited the radical growth of seedling. According to the results, the extractives of M. diplotricha possess multiple bioactivities. It is worthy to investigate the active mechanisms and the exact structures of active components in the future. 廖天賜 2007 學位論文 ; thesis 40 zh-TW
