Facing the impact of economic globalization, China also had borne laden burden on governmental officers’ corruption. This research aims to explore the causal relations and impacts between China’s economic reform and corruption. In order to accomplish this purpose, the research will not only adopt modernization and political system theories as research approaches, but also take document analysis, induction, and history study to be research methods. This research provides that contemporary corruption of China is resulted largely from cognitive deviation, power mis-arrangement, money adoration, and institutional corruption. For diminishing the harm of corruption, China should boost political institution and education reform to limit leading elites’ absolute power, and strengthen public opinion mechanism to superintend government’s operation as well.
