In order to improve the accuracy and speed of machining, the raise of the performance of a spindle is the most important. To support the development of the IC、PCB electronic industry, the improvement of the accuracy of a spindle of the machine tools that we use to produce those electronic product will benefit the electronic industry directly. This research we use ANSYS software to create a 3D model of a commercial spindle (FV-800) of a machine center which is still in the production line and analyze it with the Finite Element Method. We get several nature vibrating modes and nature vibrating frequencies of the spindle. In order to make sure the result of the analysis is correct or not, we check the nature frequency of a real spindle with RT Pro Photon spectrum analyzer and get a very close conclusion that the relative error of the frequency between that from analysis and from experiment is within 10 %. We hope that we will have the chance to find a proper model to modify the bearing of the spindle, and analyze it with the software try to show a different way for the designers working in machine tools plant.
